Two bags containing atleast 24 kg cannabis was recovered from Kalupur railway station here, a Government Railway Police (GRP) official said today.
"During night patrol, two unclaimed bags were found lying unattended near waiting room on Platform No. 1 of Kalupur railway station. As no person came forward to claim the bag, we called sniffer dogs to inspect the material inside the bags," GRP Police Inspector P P Pirojia told PTI.
"We recovered 11 kg cannabis from one bag and 13 kg from the other bag," Pirojia added.

The market value of the recovered consignment is Rs 1.49 lakh, he said.
No person has been detained or arrested in the case. We are checking the Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) visuals to know who placed the bags there, he said.
A case has been registered at Railway police station against unidentified persons under Section 8 (C) and Section 20 (B) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
