A control room at Assam Chief Minister's Office has been set up to function round-the-clock to attend to distress calls at times of exigency.
The control room set up at the direction of Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and manned by officers and staff of the Secretariat Administration Department 24x7 will receive any distress calls at the time of flash floods and landslides in Guwahati, a CMO spokesman said here today.
One can lodge grievances or complaints and also put forth suggestions at the tele-fax number 0361-2237042, he said.
