A 25-year-old girl was found dead at Kookra village under New Mandi police station here, police said today.
The girl, identified as Farzana, was missing since last few days, and her body was recovered yesterday, police said. Her brother, Allah Rahi, has alleged that she was murdered by someone, they said, adding, the body has been sent for post-mortem and an investigation is underway in the case.
