A 25-year-old woman who had come to the city from Baran in search of work was allegedly raped by a man who was known to her, police said today.
The woman, who was working as a labourer in Baran, contacted Aslam when she arrived here on January 25, police said, adding, the accused took her to a hotel room where he allegedly raped her.
An FIR in the matter was lodged by the woman yesterday.
Police is on the lookout for Aslam, SHO Sadar police station Radmal said.
