A total of 250 special buses would be operated to Palani on April 3 and 4 from the region for the benefit of devotees visiting the famous hill shrine of Lord Muruga there on the occasion of Panguni Utthiram festival.
According to an official release, 75 buses will ply from Coimbatore, 15 from Pollachi, five from Udhgamandalam and 45 from Tirupur round-the-clock on both days.
Similarly, 30 buses will be going from Salem, 45 from Erode and 35 buses from Kodumudi, the release said.
