A total of 259 recruits were attested into Madras Regiment Centre (MRC), the oldest Regiment of Indian Army in nearby Wellington today.
The Attestation Parade was reviewed by Defence Service Staff College Commandant Lt Gen Amrik Singh, who appreciated the instructors and staff for achieving a very high standard of drill in the parade.
He also lauded the efforts of MRC to improve the standard of training to such a high level, a press release said.
