265 live cartridges found near school in Ludhiana

The cartridges were found by KVM school's bus staff when they brought students to school premises

Ahead of Independence Day, 265 live cartridges including those which could be used in assault rifle AK-47 were found along the boundary wall of a school in Civil Lines area here.

The cartridges were found by KVM school's bus staff when they brought students to school premises at about 8 am here, police said.

Station House Officer (SHO) Gurpreet Singh said cartridges belonged to different types of guns including those which could be used in AK-47 rifle.

He said investigations are in progress.
