Air strikes on the last rebel-held town in Syria's Eastern Ghouta killed 27 civilians today, a monitor said, after talks sputtered over a deal for the battered town.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said dozens of air strikes hit the town of Douma.
"At least 27 civilians died, including five children," said Observatory head Rami Abdel Rahman.
