27 fresh cases of swine flu reported in Telangana

Twenty seven fresh cases of swine flu have been reported in Telangana, where 21 people died due to the H1N1 virus and other complications since August 1 last year, the state government said here today.

A bulletin on swine flu said 186 samples were tested yesterday for swine flu and 27 of them were found positive for the virus.

No death was reported yesterday, it said.

As many as 6,041 samples have been tested till yesterday since August 1 last year and 810 of them were found positive, it said.

Sufficient stock of medicines and testing kits were available in the state, the release added.
