Twenty seven projects prepared by students of schools from Maharashtra have qualified for the finals of the National Children's Science Congress (NCSC) to be held between December 27 and 31 at Chandigarh.
Maharashtra unit president of the Science Congress Surendra Dighe said out of around 2,500 projects presented at the district levels, 66 were selected for state conference held at Kudal in Sindhudurg district between December 5 and 6.
"Out of these 66, total 27 projects have qualified for the finals," he said.
Thirty one districts in Maharashtra have participated in the completion, he added.
