The Rajasthan Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) has arrested two people in connection with the seizure of 270 bags of ammonium nitrate in Udaipur, officials said today.
The bags were seized by the police from a truck last year. The police had arrested the truck driver, cleaner, truck owner and transporter, an ATS official said.
The investigation was later transferred to the ATS and they traced T S Sarma and Sarveshwar Rao, residents of Pune in Maharashtra, who allegedly supplied the ammonium nitrate, he said.
They were summoned for investigation and were arrested after initial questioning, the official said.
