280 foreign buyers meet Indian suppliers at GITB

Around 280 foreign buyers from 55 countries held meetings with 270 Indian sellers during the 10thedition of Great Indian Travel Bazaar (GITB) that ended here today, a Ficci official said.

As many as 10,936 pre-scheduled B2B meetings were held in two days and participating states also also displayed their tourism prowess through interactions as well as promotional literature and visual films during the event, the official said.

The GITB was inaugurated on Sunday by chief minister Vasundhara Raje and B2B meetings and exhibition was held yesterday and today.

The event was was organised by the state department of tourism, Union tourism ministry and industry body Ficci.
