The second edition of Jaipur Art Summit will be held from November 14 to November 18 in the pink city which will see participation of artists from India and abroad.

The highlight of the five-day summit will be 'Asian Art Camp' which will have 12 artists completing their paintings in a live demonstration.

"The performance will be witnessed during the Asian Art Camp which is one of the important segments of the Summit," Chairperson of the organising committee of the Art Summit, Timmie Kumar said.

The camp will give an opportunity to students, art lovers and art critics to have a first-hand experience and witness how a painting is made, she said.

The artists participating in the camp include Chaminda Gamage (Srilanka), Jamal Ahmed (Bangladesh), Muhammad Naeem (Pakistan), Dharmendra Rathod (India) and Amitava Das (India), among others.

Jaipur Art Summit is an effort of a few like-minded artists of the state to promote Indian Art, she said.

Rajasthan has always had a rich legacy of fine arts with its Shekhawati murals, Phad scrolls, Kavads and Rajasthani miniatures.
