2nd India-New Zealand match resumes after rain halt

The second cricket one-dayer between India and New Zealand was reduced to 42-overs-a-side affair after being halted by rain here today.

Rain had halted proceedings when the hosts reached 98 for one in 17 overs.

India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to field.
