Three continuous Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Stations have been set up by the Haryana State Pollution Control Board at Gurgaon, Panchkula and Rohtak.
These stations have started generating Ambient Air Quality data recently, a spokesman of the Board said here today.
He said that state machinery and statutory bodies are implementing the provisions of various enactments related to environmental pollution.
The Board has started the online processing of consent to establish and consent to operate applications since January, 2013.
This will go a long way in streamlining the process and improving efficiency and transparency in the system, the spokesman said.
