Police have arrested three people for allegedly creating ruckus at a government school here, an official said Tuesday.
The police have also seized three foreign-made pistols, six country-made pistols and 100 cartridges from their possession, Senior Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Krishna said.
On September 5, a clash ensued between two groups of students during a function at the school, he said.
The altercation took an ugly turn on Monday when some outsiders allegedly intervened in the matter and fired a few rounds in the air, he said.
The police arrested three people on Monday night in connection with the case, Krishna said, adding that they were identified as Amit Tyagi, Jitendra Tyagi and Umesh.
They were booked under relevant sections of the IPC.
The SSP said Amit Tyagi is a history-sheeter with four cases of murder registered against him.
