"Acting on a tip-off that members of the gang were planning to loot travellers at Chakeri mode area, Vishnu, Arvind Saini and Mahendra Tomar were nabbed last night while few of members of the gang fled," a police spokesperson said.
The trio had confessed their involvement in recent robbery incidents on the highway, he said, adding, they had indicated whereabouts of other gang members also.
Investigation was on, he said.
