Three people were arrested Thursday after cannabis and heroin were found in their possession in Jammu and Ramban districts, police said.
Police intercepted Khursheed Ahmed, a resident of Anantnag, in the Gund Teetha area of Ramban and seized three kilograms of cannabis from him, they said.
A case was registered in this regard and an investigation initiated, they said.
Two more people were arrested in Bakshi Nagar and Bathindi areas of Jammu city after small quantities of cannabis and heroin were found on them, officials said, adding that cases were registered against them.
