Three persons were arrested with over 100 kg of opium worth crores of rupees from Bagru area of this district, the police said today.
Following a tip off, a police team intercepted a car late last night and recovered the opium kept in three sacks, DCP (West) Ashok Kumar Gupta said.
The accused had brought the opium from Jharkhand and were on their way to supply it in different parts of Jodhpur.
The arrested accused have been identified as Babulal (32), Bhagirath (42) and Rakesh (22) and they have been booked under the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
