Three persons have been booked on charges of stealing a tractor trolley loaded with 1,000 bags of cement, police said today.
The accused, identified as Jagseer Singh, Amandeep Singh and Iqbal Singh, had first allegedly thrashed the complainant Chhinda Singh and then took away his trolley containing cement bags, police said.
The complainant said he was coming from Malout towards Mohali via Sangrur on April 2 for the delivery of cement bags. When he reached Mastuana Sahib Gurudawara at Sangrur, he met the accused who knew him. They sought a lift till Barnala.

When they reached Himatpura village here, the trio allegedly thrashed him and took away his tractor trolley loaded with 1,000 cement bags, police said.
A case has been registered against the accused under section 382 of the IPC, but no arrest has been made so far, police said.
