Three unidentified bullet-ridden bodies were found today in Pakistan's troubled Baluchistan province.

Police said that all three persons had been shot several times before being dumped at a desolate spot in the Pasni area of Gwadar district.

"Local residents informed us about three bodies lying in the area and all of them had been shot from close range," a police official said.

He said none of the victims had been identified as yet but their bodies had been shifted to the hospital for postmortem.

Police officials reached the spot and launched a probe into the matter.

Dumping of dead bodies tortured or with bullet wounds is common in the Baluchistan province where insurgents belonging to banned separatist outfits have been targeting people belonging to other provinces, government and security personnel.
