Three Chinese nationals allegedly prospecting gold illegally in Pakistan were today sent into judicial remand for 11 days by a court.
Yan Linzi, Yangrandi and Yili Huntun were produced in the court of Civil Judge-cum-judicial magistrate Syed Hamid Qasim in Nowshera District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who sent them into the remand.
The three were arrested yesterday by police for their alleged involvement in illegal exploration of gold in Jabbai area of Nizampur.
Their interpreter Ishtiaq Hussain and Generel Manager of the Chinese Firm Muhammad Suleman told the court that before taking lease for the mine they were conducting search of the area.
