Three alleged criminals were arrested today for "manufacturing arms illegally" in Rajasthan's Alwar district.
Following a tip off, the police party raided Manpur Karmala, a hilly area, where the accused were allegedly engaged in the manufacturing of arms illegally. As the police approached, they opened fire and the same was also retaliated by our personnel, SP, Alwar, Rahul Prakash said, adding they were later nabbed.
They were identified as Hanpa, Sahun and Shakir, he said, adding three pistols 32 bore, five small guns, 13 country-made pistols 315 and 12 bore and 38 live-cartridges were seized from the spot, he said.
