Three persons, who were crossing a road on foot, were crushed to death after being hit by a truck in Haryana's Charkhi Dadri today, police said.
The incident also left another person injured.
According to the police, the driver of the truck lost control of the vehicle. The truck then veered off the road and rammed the boundary wall of a water boosting station.
The driver fled the spot after the incident, they said, adding a case under relevant provisions of the law has been registered against him.
