A three-day national event of All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) today began with members discussing a range of issues, including ghar wapsi programme and mandatory surya namaskar in Raj schools, at Jamea Tul Hidaya here.
The meeting will be followed by a General Body meeting tomorrow and a public gathering on Sunday, the organising committee said.
Today's meeting attended by the executive members of the apex Muslim community body.

Issues which are directly associated with the Muslim personal law will be discussed and if any other related issue will be raised in the meeting with the members taking the matter for the discussion, an invitee of the conference told PTI.
The members said the issues like ghar wapsi programme by some Hindu organisations and Rajasthan government's decision to make Surya Namaskar mandatory in schools would be among other issues which would come up in the meeting.
A public meeting will take place on Sunday evening at Karbala ground which is estimated to be attended by people in a large number from all over the state, organising committee secretary Abdul Latif Arco said.
