A host of dignitaries would converge in Manali for a three-day conference on the issue of drug menace, beginning tomorrow.
The conference -- 'Drug Menace in India - Overview, Challenges and Solutions -- is being organised by Himachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority (HPSLSA).
Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh would inaugurate the conference, which would be attended by Health and Family Minister J P Nadda, Law Minister D V Sadananda Gowda, Justice T S Thakur, Justice A K Sikri, Justice S A Bobde, Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court Mansoor Ahmad Mir, judges of HP High Court and several other dignitaries.
The objective of the conference is to draw attention to the problem of drug menace in India and evolve a national policy on the same.
