3-day RSS meet from Mar 19 to review activities of BJP, allied

The RSS will hold a three-day brainstorming meet from March 19 to review the activities of the BJP and its other allied organisations in various states, a week after announcement of results of five assembly polls.

Elected representatives of the RSS, its state and national level office bearers will attend the meeting, chaired by Sangh's Sarasanghachalak (chief) Mohan Bhagwat and General Secretary Suresh Bhaiyya Ji Joshi. It will also review its state-wise activities.

The annual meeting of the Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS), the highest decision-making body of the RSS, will start from March 19 and activities of all the organisations, including the ABVP, the Sevabharati, the Samskrita Bharati, the Vidya Bharati and the BMS will be submitted to it, a press release issued by the RSS said.
 

Counting in all five states- Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Punjab, Uttarakhand and Manipur- which went to polls in various phases will be held on March 11.

Important national and social issues will be discussed and necessary resolutions will be passed in the meeting, it said.

In the meeting, the RSS will also decide its plan of action for the next year.
