The incident took place near Kasara when the truck carrying around 30 people hit a wall and fell into the culvert, they said.
The passengers were on way to Nashik to attend a marriage function.
While three died on the spot, the 15 injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where eight of them were stated to be critical.
