Two persons including an elderly woman were killed and many injured when a minibus fell into a gorge on Rishikesh-Chamba highway in Narendra Nagar area here, police said today.
"Three persons died on the spot while the injured were rushed to the Community Health Centre," SDM, Narendra Nagar, Laxmi Raj Chauhan said.
The incident occurred at around 2 PM when the driver lost control over the minibus while trying to overtake another vehicle and plunged into a 250 m deep gorge, Chauhan said.
