Khushboo (14) and Kanti (16) died of suffocation after being buried in a mudslide at Jugsana village, they said, adding that farmers were able to rescue the third girl, Renu, upon hearing her cries for help.
In a second incident, Vimlesh (25) died in Barotha village when trapped while digging for mud, they said.
