At least three persons died and 62 others were injured in two road accidents in the state today.

In the first incident, three persons lost their lives and 26 people were injured when a bus collided head-on with a truck, which lost control while trying to save a motorcyclist on NH-37 at Charaikhowa in Jorhat district.

A police official said the bus was carring 41 passengers and of them, 36 were injured.
