Three persons died today after allegedly consuming liquor bought from a state-run liquor shop and fish curry at a village in Thiruvarur district, police said.
Four persons purchased liquor from a Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC) shop in Valangaiman area and started vomitting continuously after consuming it along with fish curry and fainted, police said.
Three of them died while being rushed to the hospital and another person was hospitalised here, police said.

Last week, three persons at Musiri in Tiruchirappalli district died after allegedly drinking liquor from a TASMAC shop.
