Three members of a family were killed and two others injured when their car was hit by a truck near Maheva under Bakewar police station area here this morning.
The family hailing from Kanpur was returning from Rajasthan when they met with the accident on NH-2, police said.
Narayan Agarwal (55), his wife Prabha Devi (50) and son Tushar (25) were among those killed, police said, adding that his daughter and son-in-law were the ones injured.
The two injured have been admitted to the hospital.
