3 drowned in China boats collision

At least three persons were drowned today and six others remain missing after two Chinese cargo boats collided and sank in the East China Sea.

The Fujian Provincial Maritime Search and Rescue Center said 13 people fell into the waters off Nanri Island due to the collision.

So far, four people have been rescued safely as rescue operations were underway, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
