Three persons, including a minor, were today arrested in a joint operation by CID and police after brown sugar was seized from their possession, officials said.
Acting on a tip-off, the CID and city police conducted a raid at a hotel near Malda railway station. 500 gm of brown sugar was seized from their possession, they said.
The accused today were produced before Malda court which remanded them to police custody for seven days, officials said.
