Three government engineers were suspended today for alleged negligence in construction of a cooperative medical shop in the district.
The action was ordered by District Collector Onkar Singh after a portion of the newly constructed shop in the premises of MG government hospital collapsed.
However, no loss of life was reported in the incident.
The collector visited the site and ordered suspension of Urban Improvement Trust's executive engineer Mahendra Vyas, Assistant Engineer Brahm Lal and Junior engineer Lalit Rajput, sources said.
