Three persons were feared dead after they entered a borewell today to repair a pump set and did not come out even after five hours in Raul Kheda area here, police said.
The incident took place this morning about 10 AM at Sandila when Sonu (18) entered the borewell to repair a pump set but did not come out. After a while, his father Bhagwan Deen (45) and Hemraj (25), also went inside but did not come up till 3 PM, they said.
It is suspected that they may have died after inhaling some poisonous gas, they said.
Efforts are on to trace them, they added.
