Three hardcore Maoists belonging to the proscribed CPI(Maoist) were arrested along with arms and ammunition in East Champaran district.
Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested them from Parsauni village under Patahi police station area where the three were holding a meeting, the police said.
A country-made pistol, five detonators, 11 cartridges, Rs 11,000 in cash collected as levy and Maoist literature were seized from them.
A total of 34 cases were pending against them, police said.
