Three persons were arrested at the airport here today after 18 packets of illegal drugs were allegedly found in their luggage, airport sources said.
The three, all residents of Mizoram, came here in a flight from New Delhi and were supposed to take another flight to Imphal.
The drugs kept in 18 packets weighing about 40 kg were found during a routine check and they were arrested, the sources said.
Personnel of the Narcotics Control Bureau took away the packets.
However, it was not immediately known what kind drugs were there in the packets.
