Three persons were arrested here for allegedly possessing a huge cache of pharmaceutical drugs worth Rs five crore in the international market, without licence, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officials said today.
"Narcotics Control Bureau of Gujarat arrested three persons from here and seized psychotropic substance worth Rs five crore in international market from them," Hariom Gandhi, Zonal Director of NCB said.
The seized stock comprises over one lakh tablets and injections of the psychotropic substance, he said.

The accused have been identified as Rishabh Rawat, Mohammad Sayed and Abdul Rauf, Gandhi said.
"NCB officers in Ahmedabad, on May 20, apprehended one Rishabh Rawat, while trying to book parcels to foreign through some courier company and also recovered 24 parcels containing psychotropic substance," he said.
Yesterday, two more persons Sayed and Rauf were apprehended and more psychotropic substance was seized from their possession, the officer said.
During searches at godowns of Sayed and Rauf in Relief road area here, huge quantity of various types of psychotropic substance in tablet and injection form was seized, he said, adding that investigation is underway.
