Three persons have been arrested for their alleged involvement in manufacturing illicit liquor in Rohini district's Alipur area, police said today.
Police yesterday received secret information about some persons involved in manufacturing illicit country liquor in Jhangola village located on the banks of Yamuna river, DCP (Rohini) M N Tiwari said.
A team conducted a raid at the spot.

"Diwan Singh, Manoj and Satish Kumar were found involved in manufacturing of illicit liquor. After seeing the police party, they tried to run but were apprehended," he said.
Two drums, four aluminium vessels, 15 litres of raw liquor filled in tube, 11 drums (two filled and nine empty) and four cans of raw material were recovered, he said, adding two tins filled with three litre illicit liquor were also recovered.
The country-made liquor that was to be supplied in nearby areas was also seized.
"During interrogation, the accused confessed that Jhangola village from where they operated is situated on the borders of Delhi, Haryana and UP and they can easily supply the liquor to UP and Haryana. They also thought that they can easily escape from police to the nearby states," the officer said.
