Three persons were arrested and
heroin was seized from their possession in the city's border belt today.
On a specific information regarding flow of heroin in the border belt of the district, the police conducted checking of vehicles at a check point in R S Pura belt today, a Police officer said.
Three persons, who were riding on a scooty, were apprehended when they tried to escape from the police party, he said
During their search, 4.25 grams of heroin, two syringes and three sharp-edged weapons were seized from their possession, the officer said.
A case has been registered in this regard at Police Station R S Pura, he added.
