Officials from the Indian High Commission here rushed to Negombo and arranged for their hospitalisation as soon as the fishermen reached there today, officials said.
"They are now receiving medical attention. The High Commission of India will provide emergency certificates and make arrangements for their return as soon as they are fit to travel," an official said.
Negombo, the fourth largest Lankan city, is known for its huge and old fishing industry with busy fish markets.
