Three persons were killed and two others injured when a jeep collided with a truck in Nanpara area here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when a police jeep, which was being taken for trail by mechanic after repairing was hit by a truck, they said.
In the incident Banwari (45), Ramesh (30) and Laddan (35) died while two others travelling in the jeep were injured.
Police was trying to trace the truck driver, who fled from the scene after the mishap leaving the vehicle there, they said.
