The sport utility vehicle, carrying five persons, was on its way to Srinagar from Jammu when it skidded off the highway and rolled into the river at Banihal belt this afternoon, officials said.
Three persons -- Nisar Ahmed Shah, Ashok Kumar Khando and Sanjeev Dutta-- died on the spot, while two others who were injured were rushed to a hospital, they said.
