: Three persons were killed on the spot and 21 injured when two vans collided at Thennampatti near Vadamadurai in this district today, police said.
One of the vans was transporting cattle and the other was carrying women workers from Vadamadurai to Vedasandhur.
The cattle van driver was among those killed.
Twenty women workers and another seriously injured person have been hospitalised, police said.
