Three persons were killed and three others, including two children, injured today when a car in which they were travelling in fell into a deep gorge near Ronhat in remote Shillai area of Sirmaur district, 200 Km from here, police said.
The occupants of the ill-fated car were on way to Paonta from Shillai and the accident reportedly occurred as the driver lost control over the vehicle and it veered off the road, they said.
"On receiving information, a team has been rushed to the spot and further details are awaited," said SHO, Shillai Police station, Tula Ram.

In another incident, a 24-year-youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself in Raipur Dhada area of Una district.
The deceased, a migrant labourer had been identified as Surendra, son of Simran and a resident of Shivgarh Maharaj in Rai Bareilly, who was working in brick kiln for past one year.
Police reached the spot and the body had been sent for post mortem. A case has been registered and investigations are on, police said.
