Three people were killed and three others injured, two of them seriously, when the car they were riding in fell into a deep gorge in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir in the wee hours today, police said.
Three of them died on the spot, but the victims have not been identified yet, police said.
They were travelling to Kishtwar from Anantnag in the Valley, when the vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge near Marwah, post midnight last night, they said.
Three persons died on the spot and three others injured, police said, adding, the seriously injured were airlifted to Jammu and admitted in the Government Medical College Hospital.
A case has been registered in this connection and an investigation is underway, police said, adding that further details are awaited.
