An SUV rammed into a motorcycle in Punjab's Ludhiana district on Tuesday killing three men, police said.
Harkirat Singh, Sohan Singh and Gyan Singh, all from Payal town, were riding to Ludhiana city when the speeding vehicle hit them, they said.
One of them died on the spot, while the other two succumbed to injuries at a hospital, police said.
Sohan's family told police that he was soon leaving for Canada and the three friends were going for Sohan's medical test.
Police have seized the vehicle.
