: Three persons, including the conductor of a bus were killed on the spot and four injured when the vehicle rammed a sand laden lorry parked along a National Highway at Nallukalpatti village today, police said.
The front portion of the state transport corporation bus was completely smashed under the impact.
The bus was coming to this city from Tiruchirapalli when the mishap occurred.
The two other deceased, both aged about 30, were from Bangalore, police said.
The injured were admitted to the Mohan Kumaramangalam government medical college hospital here.
